Time to Move

This is a quick shot of my wife from this past weekend. We had a friend visiting from Minneapolis, and one activity we planned for Saturday morning was a trip to the farmers market to do a little shopping. I took this opportunity to work on quick candid photos of various people around the area. I had a great time over the weekend and ended with a few fun shots that I will be sharing over time.

Saturday night ended being a big motivator for me. Our friend mentioned an art show taking place at CONvergence and that I should enter a few of my Lego/toy photos. I woke up Sunday and found I still had time to get my paper work submitted so I may display my art work and possibly sell a few pieces as well. With that spur of the moment motivation in place, I will finally be showing off my work for the first time!

This brings me to the last item on my list of small announcements. I am about to go for broke on taking my photography to the next level. Thanks to my wife and her never ending support, I am in the process of developing some marketing tactics, getting my portfolio in order, and about to start sending my work out for potential clients to see. The plans are still getting the finer details ironed out, but it is time to step up my game and get serious about this business. I am both extremely excited to see how this plays out, and also terribly nervous. Either way, I am going to try my best to make this a success.

Enjoy!
